MNAWF organised a seminar entitled "Nipah Virus Disease - Discovery and Threat" on 8th June at Pan Pacific Hotel, Kuala Lumpur to provide essential information and update on the new emerging disease which adversely affected our country resulting in the loss of human lives and the mass destruction of pigs. The speaker for the seminar was Dr. Aziz Jamaluddin, Director of Veterinary Research Institute, Ipoh. The topic was well addressed by Dr. Aziz and proved to be an eye-opener for the more than 100 attendees, comprising mostly members of the veterinary profession.
