Charity Premiere of Jungle ASPCA Gives Out Awards for Humane Efforts |
Charity Premiere of Jungle Book 2 We managed to distribute most of the tickets for the charity screening of Jungle Book 2 held on 24 August at GSC Mid Valley, thanks to the many members and friends who came forward to support this fund raising event by promoting the tickets and generously donating towards it. From part of the donations received, we were able to invite children from homes under the Selangor Council of Welfare and Social Development, namely, Cheshire Home, PDK Selayang, Rumah Hope, Rumah Bakti Rumah Kanak-Kanak Impian and PAKK Chow Kit, to the event. The guests enjoyed the movie, the children especially participating in the on-the-spot quiz and lucky draws conducted by Kay, our lively M/C, from Radio 4. Jungle Book 2 was a light and entertaining movie, and quite a refreshing way to spend a Sunday morning. We’ve included some photos for you on page 5.
