Seminar on Human-Animal Interaction-the Bond |
General, Executive Committee We received approval from the Registrar of Societies on our request to reduce the number of exco members to 9 from the present 14 w.e.f. 23 July 2002. JAKIM We approached JAKIM to clarify on the matter of spaying/neutering of pets. Their decision is as follows: "Bahawa mengembiri binatang kesayangan (seperti kucing atau anjing) hukumnya adalah diharuskan dengan sebab-sebab tertentu iaitu bagi menjaga maslahah ammah" translated as : The spaying of pets such as cats or dogs can be carried out provided it is in the best interests of the community. |
