Seminar on ‘The Right Pet For Your Lifestyle’
14 December 2003, 4.00 pm
IPS Auditorium, Universiti Malaya, KL

We had a rather poor turnout for the seminar, although it was announced several times over Astro radio and in The Star. This was most probably due to the festive season where many people were out shopping and taking the chance to meet up with friends.

Still the few who attended found the message very interesting, giving us a better understanding of the behaviour traits of the various breeds of dogs.

Special thanks to our Deputy Chairman, Dr. Siva, for giving such a wonderful presentation. We are also grateful to our chairman, Dato' Nordin, our members and guests, who took the time to come in on a Sunday afternoon.

We plan to organise at least 2-3 public seminars next year to provide guidelines on animal welfare and help to promote pet ownership.

Annual General Meeting

Our 6th AGM was held as scheduled on 8 November. Among the main matters discussed were the programs and activities for MIPE 2004, our animal welfare education program in schools and public seminars.

Mr. Chang Kum Wah was elected Treasurer for 2003/2004.
